Rocket GSE

That red box on the bottom right is the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) box I built for the Wildcat Rocket Engineering Club (WREC). This was for our "Sonoran Wildcat" rocket project, where we built a rocket based on HalfCat Rocketry's original design. Their rocket worked beautifully, but the GSE design left a lot to be desired- namely data collection, automation, and reliability.

So! I made it my mission to upgrade the original design with live remote data collection and a better way of operating the system.

Now, this red toolbox (and all its checklist work) has proven itself reliable for three successful flights of the Sonoran Wildcat Rocket, including winning 1st place overall at FAR-OUT 2026.
